My friend's ancestor is a pirate in Indonesia
    He has 50 100.000 $ bill and a company certificate from 1934.

It's still legal tender. Take it to a federal reserve. Though its likely worth much more to collectors

Sell it to some collectors or just go to a pawn shop. You can also go to a bank and ask but i don't recommend it as the offer they would give would be negligible.

I would delete this thread, tell no one else, make sure it's in a bank safe deposit box at least....then go and see a good lawyer on the down low.

Wealth attracts all sorts of crazy people.

and good luck with whatever you decide to with it. Set yourself and your descendents up for life. A lawyer will help you with the thinking part. :)

Best of the best to you and yours.

If the money is real it was probably robbed from the Federal Reserve

Assuming the story is real+ the money too.
Two ways collector aka auction or federal reserve of US.
Now come the problems in many countries there are restrictions of how much you can transport from the country into another without knowing of the administrative office ...for example in the EU you can not have more than 10 000 € as real money by crosing the borders of a contry...

The colectors may pay a bit more but you need to take nto the account the intermediary+ taxes because you are selling a "good" not a exchange ....
