A few hours ago everything was working fine. Then, after I plugged them in the adapter for my computer, I noticed that the volume was very low. I tried the same thing with my phone, even though the volume tab was at its peak, the sound was really low compared to how it was before. I always took care of them properly, so I'm a bit floored by the sudden drop of volume. I contacted the company behind the product, hoping to get it replaced, but I don't think I'll get another one. Any idea how to fix this? Edit: Just wanted to remind you that the sound is not distorted or anything. The bass is deep and clear and it works fine, it's just the volume that has gotten drastically low...
Might help if you let us know what model of headphones you're using. Are they Bluetooth, USB, miniplug? Do they have an inline amp or inline volume control?
I highly doubt the problem lies in the wires. Today they worked perfectly, the problem ensued after I plugged them in the adapter.
Omg... the volume button on my earphone was a bit lower than I had set it to... *wheew* thank you good sir, you just saved my ass.
The problem is that the button goes up and down, you don't have to click it to turn the volume up. And I hardly use it anyway, so yeah... oops? I swear, this is so embarrassing. I can't even delete the thread! >.<
Locking the thread doesn't hide it. Everyone can still bask in the ignominious glory of your folly. You just won't have to respond to people who refuse to read the thread and offer you pointless advice on how to fix a problem that's already solved.
Just change it. There is probably some thing wrong with driver or the wire. No way an laptop can't push an ear buds. And please check if your connector is 3.5mm balanced or 3.5mm singled. This shouldn't be a problem as an 19 bucks headphones, but just in case. 3.5mm balanced is some how a thing right now. If it's balance, get an balance 3.5mm output dac/amp. That should cost you about 300 euros. As 3.5mm balanced output is rare. It wouldn't worth to buy a balanced output for a 19 euro headphones. If it's single, check with another headphones, if it's low, than your pcs impedance is too low. Again, as an 19 euros headphones, there shouldn't need an impedance requirement. So basically it's your pc sound card having problems or it's the issue with your head phones. I think your case it's probably your headphones. edit: should have read the full thead.
