Hello Just me complaining After 5 month learning English I don't understand Ps first language French Ps I'm terrible
English is my first language and I hate it as well... So many pronunciations that don't make sense, wtf have silent letters, really inefficient.
I learned English from playing Runescape, an MMORPG, back when I was in elementary school. Using English is the best way to learn it.
Ironically, I'm terrible at French, conjugation and stuff makes my brain overheating, and I remember in my highschool days when madame entering the class, everyone was frighteningly silent stiffly lol
yep, English is bad. Impossible to tell how something is pronounced from reading the word , rules with more exceptions than things that follow it...
Learned English through TV. Easier than my birth language. So free of rules once your vocabulary expands and you realize how english grammar is more suggestions than rules. Italian, now that language can burn in that fiery pit of gas Russians lighted one day that still burns.
I spent a couple years learning French. I found it an impossible language. Then again, my entire class failed our final exam except, of course, for the one girl who got 92. Then again, I’m bad at foreign languages in general, although I worked really hard at Japanese. But, in the end, my best subject has always been English.
yes, English can be a pain in the ass. it's supposed to be an amalgamation of three languages. and don't forget the slang. holy shit. i'm English and even i have issues. try learning something like German. now there's a language. lol i'll take English, thank you.
My first language is German, which is known to be hard! I learned English on youtube and english video games. One thing I abselutly love is how english words are often shorter than the german equivalent. In addition you have a much wider variety on the web to choose from, if your looking for something (Books/TVSeries/Guides/News/Knowledge/Games and other things ( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡• )). Also alot of jobs require english, and if you want to go to university you have to have english!
french are notoriously shit at english. some because of arrogance or laziness, others because they are just not good at learning english from my experiences, in france there is a stunningly low proportion of people that speak english compared to other countries in the western EU
Pretty much any English speaking people also hates English, and seeing from how grammar works, English language do hate itself with a passion.
Maybe try American? Ps- Yes I know, its suppose to be a joke. In all seriousness British English and American English are quite different on many levels in terms of pronunciation and slang. I hear that its easier for many non English speakers to learn American English in terms of speaking because they hear it more often in popular media and shows.
Also, i have no idea of how old you are... Learning a second language is far easier with an early age. It may makes no sense to the kids why they should learn it then but it helps. Also there are lots of people who will be worse than you. You were brave enough to visit this very english website. Other just stay on websites with just their first language! You can also try speaking english with others. There are multiplayer games, discord, teamspeak, and so on which allow to easely join a conversation. I would however advise against pvp multiplayer games.
I do it by complaining I have nothing against English and I say not that my language and better just that I have trouble
English was basically invented due to Normans after the Conquest trying to hit on Anglo-Saxon bar maids. Obviously it has problems. (edited quote from the West Wing, Jed Bartlett)
