How did you discover Novel Updates?

    When Aho-Updates became essentially dead. I saw someone shamelessly advertising NU in Animesuki... one thing lead to another... I just became an NU resident(though, 'twas only after a year later or so I registered because of reading list) thereafter.

    Aho-updates was down 1 day (before them disappearing completely) so i needed to find something similar and here we are.... I do miss not being able to see the translator's announcements on their site as well. But this is good enough. Plus they are gone now.

    at that time NU is copy of wnudates with better layout with copy the format nmae of bakaupdates/mangaupdates

    Everytime someone mentions shameless advertising I think of @Tony :blobpopcorn_cool:

    I think I got here from douluo dalu manhwa and which lead me to the novel. Google lead me to novel updates...and then fate somehow lead me to being a mod.

    I read Tales Of Gods And Demons Manga, but run into a wall as it is unfinished , so I went on to read the unfinished novel up to the current chapter.
    Then I read Warlock of the Magus World and I got hooked completely , oddly I read all the best novels first then I went on to read some lesser novels. Never gonna get that old vibe , the same fix I used to. Unless some next giant comes onto the scene , right now I'm waiting for a couple of novels to finish up.
