My theory is that something went wrong with his ritual. Maybe he didn't drink the potion at the key moment of the era so he went mad? Although that seems unlikely given his paranoia. That or he just decided to be on Earth for some reason? Maybe to search the Artefact of his group even to help Amon with his advancement. In any case it's really weird he's not helping to keep up the barrier.

Most likely, he struggles with Zaratul being sequence 2, in theory because Klein already has the power of a sequence 1 and that of an angel king being in the source castle.
Yeah. He lacked the knowledge that sequence 1 bring with the potion, that's probably why he can't really utilize his power to the maximum effect.

With the Fool, it's about fooling things and stuff, whether it's abstract or physical or even things that's impossible to achieve. They're kinda like Error isn't it? there's a difference a god can influence the pathway, but amon want to be the only being in his pathway. The entire error pathway will be own by amon, he doesn't even have to be a god.
Amon wants to be a God, he already has all the materials. He never said he wants to be the only one in his pathway, he just eats every Marauder in his path because he can and to make himself more strong
