https://www.novelupdates.com/series/rankers-return/ Let the majesty of the master of Bung Bung Island onto you! ... Just kidding! One could argue it's a Weed/LMS copycat, but there's no Pika-bear in LMS! -------------------------------------- Effect: Physique and magic power will recover by 5% of the damage dealt to monster (includes players and NPCs). ‘Mindset of a Murderer’ can be used. Mindset of a Murderer: In a battle for your life, all stats are increased by as much as 15% Damn boi that extra effect seems like it can be used all the time!
Sounds good! Bookmarked and I will read a few chapters tonight. Love the teddy bear...is it an overpowered weapon? Reviews have some real hate in them.. That just makes me want to read it mor!
“Chicken!! Give me chicken!!!” Hyeonu screamed as he ran into the living room. Warning: A lot of Korean culture specific humor. Some can be understood in context, others, . Still fun, OP story. Edit2: Humorous interaction with his stream fans.
What was confusing about it? You basically had 3 sections: MC convincing his mom to let he pay for caretaker, Ellise and Nike people looking at the latest duel video and deciding how to edit it while being gobsmacked, and the MC continuing his trolling of Tian Wu's wage slaves after being told "Look this guy sucks and isn't worth the time to embarrass his ass on your big battle royale show. You're already on the right path, just keep at it."
The workshop was newly introduced as the Aisis guild. I don’t remember that from the previous chapters, though it was obvious in context.
Aha, yeah they never mentioned the guild name before and the MC only knew the guild by the symbol. So that was the first time he heard the actual name of the guild.
Yep. It’s slightly jarring, the way the author introduces the guild. Logically, it would have made more sense to introduce it from the beginning, and there would be no transition. Though I’m wondering if the author decided to change from a workshop to a guild, in order to make the MC’s request to have the GUILDMASTER participate seem logical? Or this may be a translator error. Not sure.
If we're seeing info from the MC's PoV, then the author not revealing the guild name is fine, since the MC himself didn't know it until this point. But yeah we find out other guild's name from other PoV's so there was no real reason for that. So I don't think there's a change between workshop and guild per se. In game structure is a guild, but in the Real World they work for a Workshop whose members belong to the guild. In essence their real world working jobs is to farm materials in game for the guild to use. Edit: Or to put it into easier terms, the Workship is in essence Chinese Gold Farmers dedicated specifically to the guild.
I’m just waiting for the chapter where the MC’s sword mana extends a meter past his sword and players get chopped up by the invisible blade...
Korean novels might be fewer but at least the translators are usually competent. All the Japanese novels that I like read like chicken writings
Alas, the author seems to be not very good at laying out and structuring this story. Quite hard to follow, and a lot of culture specific humor that the translators decided to present without transliteration.
I guess you are a serial optimist, so I mistakenly assumed that the stories you enjoyed were masterpieces
