What Idol? I thought it was an empty shrine? No idol, no symbol, no badge. It was followed by: the inhabitants of this island worship something that doesn't exist.
Oh this is good. Yeah, Death has element of Quezalcot. I searched feathered serpent and it redirect me to Quezalcot. Demoness seems to take inspiration from Ancient Greece, yeah. Also Tyrant, aside from Tchulu also seems to be the mix of Poseidon (and Kraken) and Zeuz. Savant inspiration seems to be about Dwarves.
New chapter is up. Bernadette encounter a situation where the corpses that has died in the island all can recover/resurrect, and full of vitality. However their state is a little weird, closer to zombie, according to Klein. My guess is that the island is influenced by Monarch of Decay. She also encountered Edward (again). He lived inside a wooden building. Edward has some lucidity in his mind. He greeted Bernadette, saying 'your highness'.
Who is Edward again? Honestly, while it may look like yog, I would go with nya. Though, I see aspects of both. The entire castle of fog and mysterious Mr. Fool, might give the impression of yog, but entire Fool sequence looks definitely like nya (thousand faces, always having some sort of agenda etc.). Heck, even Klein acting as Mr. Fools agent is similar in a way to a theory where nya wants to awaken Azethoth.
Yes, Edward dude died and got buried in Lenburg. And then his corpse return to this island as living corpse.
So Edward said, aside from Benjamin and him, Bernadette can't trust anyone on the island. It's because they died outside. But according to Edward last word there, he didn't realized that he has died until Bernadette reminded him. Well, I wonder if it's really Roselle or will it be like Bethel Abraham (where a side of him is obviously crazy while the other is sane).
I was thinking of reading this novel, how is the MC? Is he kind-hearted, soft or more cold, indifferent? I saw a post where he was planning on helping poor people before returning to his world.. And various other instant where he helps random people for no reason
But he seems to do it also because he is kind-hearted. It's just a coincidence that to digest the potion he also has to be kind
