I forgot the name of the novel but from what I remember, its a Chinese (transmigration?) historical story. MC is a beauty and even the rich/noble guy likes her and wants her to be with him. But she chooses an ordinary guy because it's more stable and she doesn't need to become a concubine, like if she chose the noble.
Only one (similar to that) I can think of was about a MC choosing a fisherman instead of some noble, only for that fisherman to *surprise* turn out to be some big shot himself. Can't remember the name though.
That novel is Quick Hubby, All Aboard! which is mostly all right until the last two or so chapters where it is abruptly and stupidly wrapped up. The novel was heading toward them choosing to just living together as fisherman and wife, and then suddenly, "and then the took over the kingdom and became emperor and empress the end" over the course of like, a chapter.
I liked Godly Farmer Doctor: Arrogant Husband, Can’t Afford to Offend! Until they return to the capital, then i stopped reading because there are a lot of books with the same plot and got kind of boring, but its not bad. I recommend it!
