@rosierosie There are two worlds(a copy was made). Everyone has a body double. There are two copies of everyone, except for the old CWN who is dead. Characters from old world cross to current world. ChuWanning(Original World) is dead. CWN(current world) gets memories from dead CWN from old world. TXJ commited suicide in old world. After death, he split off into two copies. TXJ (old world) is dead from suicide. He is resurrected as a zombie servant of SM/HBN(old world) Mo Ran(current world), at start of story after TXJ's suicide, was reborn into current world. He has all old memories of TXJ. Zombie TXJ (old world) does not have MoRan's memories of current world. He still is hateful and angry. And yes, ShiMei (from both worlds) likes CWN. All characters from old world cross into new world-- Except for CWN from old world who had been dead at start of the story. We only see him in flashbacks.

Did you finish? I'm like a quarter almost done. MR and WN's love story is truly beautiful, once you learn about everything that they go through. I thought Shi Mei likes MR, but it turns out he likes WN. The way the story was set up, I really thought SM likes MR that's why he got jealous- and wanted to hurt MR. I'm taking my time with this one because I don't want it to end.
