I have plenty of readers calling China government out, but I think the people there are as much to blame for mass reporting.

We can only hope that the new book is a short one, and as soon as RI fades out of popularity, we will finally see the ending.

RI has always had a large following of haters who openly criticise or reject the novel, this has been ongoing for years and numerous reports have accumulated.

Hopefully by next year this will change.

 

Do you plan on translating Gu Zhen Ren's new novel?

 

I really liked this one. But it seems like the novel got banned? Is it finished or is it dropped??

 

Depends on Qidian side I guess. And also what Chibi thinks and whether the new novel is any good. We shall see

 

It got banned and is pending release but the author has just released a new statement a few days ago (see above) and we can only hope it will be continued and finished next year.

 

What a sad news. I hope author will continue the story without rushing too much

Holy shit, I am currently reading 1369 chapter and it is awesome, on the same level as when FY was refining Perseverance Gu. Duke Long(Heavenly Court’s Dragonman) captured Spectral Soul’s main body, FY tries to persuade his “Elder brother Wu Yong” to help by giving him Immortal Gu worms. Love him getting benefits. What is gonna happen next? And I read something about some Venerables being alive? Did the survive or is it something done by Red Lotus Immortal Venerable?

 

more like they have a subsequent hand to deal with future problem after their era end, most of the time its a fight between venerable that want to go against fate vs those who is in line(Heavenly court venerable) thus it end with fate war in this volume, all of gu immortal is only chess piece, even duke duke long, zi wei, feng jiuge, fang yuan etc. each venerable arrangement has the power ti change the tide of war, and EVERY venerable is involved

Which also raises the question of whether he's going to end up being a goodie or a baddie. IIRC, he created humanity by spinning out his children. So, maybe to resurrect his children, he'll need to extract something from most of humanity...

 

I think it's not that hard. FY resurrect Rank 8 Gu master quite easy.
Ironically, Ren Zu is the ancestor of human, but his physique didn't similar to human at all.
A plot hole: Desolate Ancient Moon didn't leave a corpse, how can Ren Zu gather ten corpses of his children?
