Okay so I'm 90% done with mother of learning which suprised me as I am 100% sure I would drop it asap as the MC isn't really what I like. (Too pussy to use mind reading/magic, softhearted and hypocritical at way too many times - which tbf can be excused as being a teen from a normal family/non noble house and having strong inborn empathy. Please no ultra dense MC suggestions tho). Now what hooked me to the novel wasn't actually the time loop or the fact that it is a progression fantasy novel - but its world building. I'm looking for something that shows how plagues, economics, religion, factions, inventions, revolution, etc. affect the world. Idk, but MoL's world is really believeable and if I am being honest a lot of wns I've read so far have had really not so stellar worlds. So tldr: good novel with good world building. Want something that focuses on politics I guess or MC doing things that would require him to understand the whole picture. Any other genre would be okay, as I think a good world would distract me enough.
The Amber Sword (also, if u catch up with chapters on wolfie website u can find the rest of them on his patreon, as he is continuing it here) The Second Coming of Gluttony And make ur reading list public
Nice. I guess I'll start from that as the premise seems interesting.(similar to Dungeon Defense which I loved). The other one seems to have a negative review regarding MC being hypocrite, but we'll see.
Reverend Insanity really fits the bill on what you said If just world building itself this would be top notch, I can 100% guarantee that. But it has lots more other really good things as well which is very surprising regarding to novels that came from the Web Mc not being a hypocrite and stay true to his character, (demonic), is also one that you said that hit me why you should read this I definitely recommend you read this one out Edit: https://www.novelupdates.com/series/reverend-insanity/
hmmm " a hero's war " on RR focusses on worldbuilding in a more literal sense that the mc is taking charge of the magindustrial revolution. Meanwhile there's a sideplot that explores the world in its current state through a different character
