Is it already translated or you already the raw, cuz the closest i think is a certain hentai manga. quite similar but definitely don't have that world setting like married with demihuman come with problem, or an id. he some kind detective or maybe police (kind of forgot read long time ago) protecting some kind of ex-slave demihuman take her to his home. then they do the deed.

I tried search for it, but no one come close to what you describe of, either this is a really old manga with, not to moe art so I miss it (if it a recently translated manga with cute art I should be reading it) or you remembering the detail wrong. Sorry can't help
