Does Ves become less of a loner later on? I'm in the middle of the vandal arc and am curious whether he gets a design team and becomes less of a loner later on after the war is finished. I would prefer he stays a loner but am just curious.
If by less of loner you mean has people around him that help him out, then yes. If by less of a loner you mean that he realizes that friendship is power, then not as of yet.

For now he got a mech designer, but nothing much in that front for now, as for the girlfriend for now is only Headache for him.
Idk man, like somethings that we thought are important are sometimes worthless cause an accident happen or something, that suddenly change its relevance. For now she is a headache but also his biggest support cause he graduated from his Master.
