but there's translation? Went to read.....hmm I feel like this is edited mtl or this is the first time the translator doing chinese novel and never read other translations for reference. But the translation is easy to read, just few things made me confused. Like, from xiao chu to darling chu.
OMG!!! I love this novel so muchhh~~~ the romance line is a little bit similar with Rebirth of Golden Marriage (CEO gong x writer shou). There will be many face slapping event in this and it's really satisfying. What I like most is that the mc didn't use future knowledge for his gain or anything. Maybe because he is a write and rarely know about financial related things. He just become smarter in tricking his family and have a mature writing skill as he is already famous author in his last life. He choose to marry ML because he knows from his first life that Ml only have a cold personality and impotence (NOT) but actually not a bad person like what his step sister said. So he thinks that he can accompany Ml as a good wife in name rather than abuse by his family. Also,Ml is 'face value' fan and Mc is the most beautiful person from all of the candidate in banquet, that is why ml choose mc. Too bad mc refuse in the last life and Ml married another person. An artist who derailed and spread a gossip about ml having erectile dysfunction after they got divorce. The relationship with ML is so cute, you can see their interaction from stranger to warm harmonious relationship until Ml and Mc found out they are love each other. And they are also 2 side Cp in this novel and also really cute worth reading. All in all, mc life is smooth sailing with Ml protection.
The X family, MC father's family is soooo annoying. Well, the usual rotten family feud. MC is truly.......can I say stupid in his first life, and it made his life miserable not only level 2 or level 3 miserable but level 10! He was hurt and battered by everyone from X......It was truly miserable life. Spoiler: asshole father The father (and step mom) wanted to sell (marry) him for connection, MC refused and got 50M to pay in exchange with big interest to his own father. Oh, not forgetting his father only remembered him for this after 18years of neglect. Father had affair w step mom, divorced his mother (and kinda slandered his mother name so nobody wanted to help them and they needed to move out of the city), mother worked to death. Spoiler: scum step sis Step sis nvr liked MC, and thoguht him as country kid, and poisoned him with words of how ML (the man that he was brought to marry) was abusive, monster, misogynist, etc, and MC believed her coz he's stupid er...naive so he adamantly refused to marry ML and got burdened with debt. Years later, she pushed MC off the stair, and made him cripple. All in all this sister was truly evil. Spoiler: useless step brother The step brother is twin with step sister. He was the typical 2nd rich young master type, only likd to gaming and playing, he never had any long talk with MC. MC was forced by step mom to be the scapegoat of step bro hit and run. He refused of course, but somehow all the evidence pointed to him, so yes he was framed by crime he didnt do and went to jail for his step bro. And MC died in jail.

Spoiler: Spoiler The master mind is Xu Lan, ML's friend Xu Chi's cousin. He had a crush on ML & later tried to create misunderstandings b/w mc & ml. So he was sent abroad. After going abroad he continued to target mc using Qu Fei etc. Later he gets caught when he tries to kidnap mc and is convicted.

Spoiler: Not really...but There's Sheng family with power equal to ML's family. The 2nd young master is an airhead jealous of ML. One of his subordinates gives sleeping pills to MC and sends his to Shengs room. But ML arrive immediately and nothing happens. This guy will have an accident in the future and he'll get memories of future and sees his whole family being destroyed. So he'll eventually grow up.
