The manhua is promising. The plot is promising. The art is promising.
Although this is a reincarnation revenge type of manhua, it's still a breath of fresh air.

At the very least, the MC is not dealing with a shitty family. She has a loving set of parents. Though there is a pesky incident with her father which was dealt pretty swiftly. She's a filial child and a caring master to her maidservant. She's only antagonistic to her original husband and his new love.

As for the ML, he's not the overbearing type. He is more of a smooth, teasing flirt towards the MC. Not the overbearing possessive type. He has a great friendship with the 4th Prince and a mentor to the 13th Prince

How is the peacock / chicken / Phoenix on the cover related to the story? Is it cuz she’s the empress (Phoenix) or something else

 

That I do not know. The Phoenix/Peacock motiff never made an appearance in the most recent translated chapter in the manhua

here’s a suggestion tho. This novel is friggin cliche, you can just go to the “looking for” page and ask once and you’ll get tons of novels like this....
