It's a chinese novel where the MC doesn't have enough mental capacity to use mechas. His father ends up giving him a watch or a device before disappearing. The device is an alien-tech or from another civilisation which helps the MC in building mechas. When MC's father disappears he ends up leaving a lot of debt to clear as well. MC comes from a military family. The novel also has a virtual reality game where people use mechas in the game which are same as real life to practice. And the MC try to make new models in the VR game to learn and earn money. The mc ends up living his life on a barren planet where people don't have much to do or any special place which can be used as a tourist attraction.

what's the difference between an original novel and a chinese novel?Is it considered original because the novel isn't getting translated ? Anyways thanks a lot. I have been trying really hard to find this novel for the last 2 weeks.
original novels mean that are written by non chinese authors, and unless they go exclusive with QI can be found on sites like Royal Road or Scriblehub, some examples are The Mech Touch or Everything will be my way(originally written in russian 340 chapters atm but can be also found in english 195 chapters atm at QI)
