So I read chapter 12 with MTL, there is a resume of the chapter. It is not 100% accurate Spoiler: Chapter 12 MTL So Valentine's family are dinning together with Ciel's father who came back. The duke and the duchess are happy that Clara's debut went well[, the Duke said sorry to Clara that he couldn't come back in time to be in her debut. Clara said that it was ok because Isaac and Theo escorted her. The Duke gave her a rare medicinal plant as a gift for her debut. Clara was really happy. With how things went with her debut, Clara was finally recognized as a part of the family so most of the servants in the house stopped harassing her. While the family was eating the dessert, the butler came into the room and said something to the Duke and the Duchess. Both of them were surprised and looked at Clara and Ciel. Ciel got worried that her parents will discover that she went secretly to Clara's debut and that if she was punished they won't punish her with taking away the sweets. They asked the brothers to leave the room and only Clara and Ciel were left. They asked Clara what happened with the prince in her debut and she said nothing happened, they only danced and that was all. Then they said to her that the Emperor asked her to go to the palace. Clara was anxious so Ciel asked if she could too go to the palace with Ciel. The Duchess wasn't convinced with Ciel going but after Clara asked too if Ciel could go to and the Duke was ok with that, she gives too permission to Ciel to go. I can't promise that I will read all the novel because I can only read one chapter per day on kakao page and to translate it I need to use the mobile app of google translate and is a pain doing it. Ok, I read chapter 13 (I don't know if I used today free ticket or some of the tickets they gave you when you create an account) so here is the resume. Before that there two things I forgot to say about the last chapter, Spoiler At the beginning of chapter 12, Ales (ML) went to the Emperor, the Emperor said to him that with the case of the corruption of the future secretary, there was a reason to give Alex the title of the crown prince. But Alex said that it wasn't time (for what I could understand it is because Alex still doesn't have the power to defend against the people opposing him). And he talked to the Emperor about waiting to have a fiancee but didn't say much about it. Another thing is that when the Duke and the Duchess were praising Clara, Louis was a little sad and jealous that everything was about Clara. So Ciel hugged him and said he was the best and take care of her yesterday, this made him happy. Spoiler: Chapter 13 The Duke, Ciel, and Clara are in the carriage going to the palace. Clara is nervous and said in a loud voice if that the reason she was called is that she made a mistake in her debut. After hearing these Ciel answer her that she didn´t make a mistake because she saw her while she was debuting. Before Ciel finishes the sentence she stopped saying anymore because she realized what she was saying, but it was too late, the Duke heard it. So the Duke look at her eyes while saying that the Duchess said that Louis and Ciel stayed in the mansion the day of the debut. Ciel knows that while she can cheat her mom, her father is another story so she tells him that she secretly went to Clara's debut. Clara helps her saying that the prince helped her guiding to the terrace of the ball because she got lost. The Duke believe it and didn't ask any more questions. Ciel decides that she wouldn't tell him about the case of the corruption of the secretary's candidate. They arrive at the palace and encounter Duke Norton. Duke Norton greets Duke Valentine and Ciel while ignoring Clara. He did that because there is a rumor that Duke Valentine didn't go to Clara's debut on purpose, Ciel isn't happy about Duke Norton attitude so she hides behind Ciel saying that she is scared of the old man. Duke Valentine says that Ciel is very attached to her sister and excuse her. Duke Norton acknowledge Clara and said goodbye. They arrive at the Emperor and greets him. The Emperor saw Ciel so he is happy because even if she was not called she went to the palace, so he carried her and begin to throw her in the air. The poor Ciel is dizzy and pleads to stop the torture. When the Emperor starts caressing her with his cheek. she being to compare her father with the Emperor and thinks that his father is the best because at least he shaves his beard so it can't hurt her. The reason that the Emperor likes very much Ciel is that he have a crush on Ciel's mom, and Ciel looks like the Duchess. Then her savior appears and said to the Emperor that stop playing with Ciel because she looks uncomfortable, the Emperor stops and Ciel took the opportunity to hide behind Clara's skirt. Her savior is prince Alex (ML). Even if the events didn't go like the novel still the main events still appear. In the novel, Clara was called to the palace too, so Ciel is prepared to defend her sister so she isn't hurt but then the prince said: Why don't leave the adults alone so they can talk while I give you a tour. Ciel is surprised and her father and Clara accept the prince's proposal, so Ciel doesn't have any other option but go with the prince Till now I really like Ciel, she just wants to protect her family so they all have their happy lives but still doesn't mean she wants to force her sister to the prince. As I said this resume is not 100% accurate... I will say that is like 50% accurate.
Summary till chapter 27 Spoiler: Summary Ciel and the prince are sightseeing the palace. Ciel notice that even if Alex is a prince he doesn't have any servant following him, a clearly example that he was an unfavorable prince. Ciel tells Alex that her sister knows about herbs and its medicinals capacities, selling her sister to Alex. The reason she do that is because even if Clara and Alex doesn't end together, Alex can protect Clara and Clara can become a farmaceutic. Ciel too wants to give the Dukes support so he can become the crown prince. Alex will think about what Ciel said. After that, they go to the music room, Ciel asked Alex if he coul play an instrument, the Prince aswer that he can play the violin (but he doesn't think he can play that well). Ciel asked him if he can play a song so Alex do it. After hearing the melody, Ciel tells him that he really play good then they hear some steps coming to the room. Alex gets alerted and hide Ciel, he ask her to stay hide no matter what happen. Then the Empress (Emperor's sisters) enters the room. She was furious and start hitting and abusing Alex. Ciel coudn't stay longer seeing that and steps to protect Alex. The Empress get furious and slap Ciel in the face. Because of that Ciel cries and scream calling his father. After that his father and sister enters the room amd ask what happened. The Empress start to lie saying that Ciel and Alex were fighting amd she wanted to stop them. Obviously neither the Duke or Clara didn't believe her because Ciel wasn't able to fight (though she fight with Louis when everyone isn't seeing). The Duke ask: so tell me, was Ciel able to hurt the prince to that level? The prince takes the chance and said: Ciel was hurt because she was trying to protect me. With that he didn't accuse directly the Empress but cleared the situation. The Duke was furious so he said that right now the prince was under his protection, giving his support. The Empress was furious amd left out the room saying that they will regret it. The Duke, Clara and the Prince were in the garden, and the Dukes ask Ciel if she was okay. Then the prince ask to the Duke to be Ciel's fiancee. After the shocking word of the Prince, the Dukes saids no because Ciel was still too young. They are now back at the mansion and the Dukes tell everything that happened to the Duchess. The Empress and the Duxhess were childhood friends but after the prince was interesed in the Duchess, Ruthe (the Empress) try everything to expell the Duchess. Thanks to that the Duchess and the Duke met, fell in love and got married. After hearing what the Empress did to Ciel, rhe Duchess was very angry. Now they are supporting the prince. The emperor declared that Alex will be the crown prince but that too the son of the empress was in line of the crown. Clara and Alex became good friends, and thanks to Clara, Ciel could send letter to the prince because even if the Valentines support Alex still they don't let him meet Ciel (They are very overprotective) Clara, Alex and Ciel became very good friends. After that a period of 5 years passed, Clara in now a official farmaceutic, she gets a lot of confessions. Ciel is 15 years old and haven't had her debut. Ciel went scretly to the academy, hiding her hair with a cape so no one could recognize her because she want to be there when Louis present his exam. After that she goes to the garden and someone calls her by her name. She was surprised because someone recognized her. The person who calls her is Ruthe's son (The Empress son), he said that Ciel amd him were childhood friends and his sad that Ciel didn't remember him (creepy bastard). Ciel was wary and when she went home ask her family who was him. Her big brother Izack said that Ruthe's son was a bad person amd that Ciel shouldn't go near him. Ciel goes to her big brother Theo so he can give her more information. Theo said the samething, that Ruthe's son was a bad person because when they were childs he tried to force a kiss to Ciel even if she didn't want it. Ciel transmigater when she have 5 years old so she didn't remember anythin before she was 5. But Theo tells her that when Ruthe came back to the palace after her husband died, she invited her friends to the palace (demostrating her connections and power) and one of the persons she invited was the Duchess. Ruthe wanted to marry Ciel to his son, thats why they were childhood friends. Thats the reason why in the original novel Ciel didn't have an official fiancee. Alex went to the borders to batlle 4 years before thanks to the schemes of the Empress. He receives letter from Ciel thanks to Clara who send them by her name. Alex is waiting to receive a notificatiom from the Emperor so he can return back to the capital but thanks that the Empress has power, the Emperor couldn't do it. But after Ciel asked his father to send back the prince to the capital, the Emperor aproved and the Duke went to the borders so he can send back the prince. One day, Ciel was alone in the house and Ruthe's son visited her without any notification. When Ciel went to the salon she saw that the head maid was kneeling, Ruthe's son treated bad the head maid (the one who didn't like Clara and try to bully her). Ciel was furious amd asked Mary to help the head maid, she then was alone with him and his scort. Even if she was alone, she wasn't too scared because if he try to do anything she will use her magic to defend herself. The little piece of shit ask Ciel why is she so friendly with Alex. He is nuts and jelaous (reaaaaaaally creepy, I don't like him). the he gets near Ciel and touch her face and when Ciel was thibking of using her magic, Alex appear in a good time. Ciel was happy son she ran to Alex and hug him saying that she missed him. Ciel did that so the creepy guy see that she have a good relationship with Alex. The creepy guy left saying that he will see her again. Alex and Ciel talks. Alex said to Ciel that clara can become an oficcial palace farmaceutic but if she becomes one she has to live im the palace. Ciel was surprised and worried because the Empress could do something to Clara. Then Alex say that Ciel could go to the palace with the excuse of studies. That a little not so good resume of chapter 14 - 27, hope you like it.
