Hey, guys. How’s everyone doing in times of coronavírus? Hope that everyone is safe and healthy. so, don’t know how it’s in your countries, but here everyone is locked inside our homes (which we should, not complaining here). There is still plenty of works to do for university, but sometimes I get a little (a lot) bored because of quarantine, so I’m looking for some nice novels to pass time. so, what I would like as recommendations: • I’m not so worried about the genre, as long as it’s good, keep you entertained and hook you up (you know that type of novel that you king skip whole paragraphs looking for something to happen? Yeah, rule them out, please) • It’ll me nice if there’s already at least 50+ chapters • I would like to say ‘likeable’ main character, but I know that there are nice novels where the MC is a villain or totally trash but even then you kind like them. So, let’s say ‘nice to read about and not dumb’ character. I can’t stand dumb characters, or even worst, characters that the author describes as ‘super smart’ that goes around beating everyone with their “””super smartness””” but just because everyone else suddenly had a huge drop of QI. • BG, BL, no romance at all, everything is fine. Hmm, but if I have to say, I’m not so found of harem. But hey, if it’s a really nice novel, I wouldn’t mind overlooking it. • I’m not so found either of super tragic novels. There are plenty of sad things in real life, let me enjoy my reading in peace. There are some novels that I read and really liked, so that u guys can have a reference. But I am also all up for something completely new and different. (random order) Epiphanies of Rebirth Heroic Death System True Star Something Face of the Devil (it’s been so long, I forgot) Rebirth of the Empress with Military Heritage (I think that’s the title) Lucia (really like it) To Be A Virtuous Wife (and also the other one with eight treasures (?) in the title that feels like virtuous wife) Doomed to be Cannon Fodder Quick Transmigration System: Male God come here (others QT, but I liked this one better) Trash of the Counts Family (my baby fav) Game Ending Living as the Villainess Queen yeah, that’s the ones I could remember right away Thank you guys Remember, wash your hands and be safe bye Obs.: when I was putting tabs on this post I was looking for ‘female lead’ but what appeared instead was the tab for ‘female abs fetish achieved’ ??? Shameless plug, but I'm going to recommend Shini Yasui Koshaku Reijo to Shichi-nin no Kikoshi (fem lead, 160 ch, likable main chara). Although I'm going to put a disclaimer that you should read until at least the end of the second arc (ch 53) for the deeper main plot to appear. Stay healthy and have a nice day!

How about trying The Returner novel, I don't know if it could be considered super tragic it doesn't go into detail of the characters past. It is a harem genere type novel but it's completely worth it because it's a super good and funny(very very funny) novel. Ah but if you wanted BL or BG then this novel is not for you.
- Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (very popular BL and it's COMPLETED) - Holding On To My Man (think this one is a hidden gem, still ongoing) - Remarried Empress (soo good, nearing the part where MC divorces horrible husband, gonna be so satisfying) - The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have To Be In True Love (completed, BL with an interesting plot as well) - Reborn As My Love Rival's Wife (completed, the MC is so funny and their interaction with the ML is nice) - The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System (complete, slightly angsty, romance is a little peculiar since sometimes it seems as if MC is just with ML out of pity)
Let's see. There's BL, cultivation, female lead.. tough ask. But seeing that you might want to try other kinds of novel, these may satisfy some of your requirements based on the list you gave above, though you won't find any BL here. I'm also gonna assume you prefer longer reads. None of these are CN, bear in mind. If you're more action-oriented who wants a little downtime in between things happening, you may find these entertaining: Second Coming of Gluttony World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs These do contain harem, regretfully. Though they're not really central to the story, especially in the first one. The first one do contain tragedy, but it's bearable. Things do improve post-tragedy. There's also Rokka no Yuusha... which kinda satisfies most of your requirement... but it has been abandoned so I guess you probably shouldn't read it until you truly run out of materials. I'm also going to drop Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni Karigurashi onto the list though nothing really happens in it (which should be a disqualifying trait). But somehow I'd feel it'd be a great quarantine read for when you want to kick back after all them actions. Stay well.
Sorry, apart from funny and light hearted novels like Slight smile is very charming, Divine Doctor daughter of the first wife, I’m not into female Mc right now, although Side characters transmigrations is pretty good too. The Legendary Mechanic (no romance till where I’ve read) Strange Life of a Cat (a little slow at first, but quickly picks up, and I mtl-ed the last chapters, the ending is really .... you’ll either love it or hate it. I love it) Superstars of Tomorrow ( same author as above) No Hero ( can read Eclipse Hunter first, but not compulsory) (Anything by Yu Wo, really) Not a lot translated, yet, but KN novel Reader is pretty nice. Herscherik Third Prince Elmer Currently I’m reading Commanding wind and clouds... the tag has harem, but 100 chapters in and there is still no romance. So it’s ok, as I also don’t like harems.
Death Progress Bar - I think it has a pretty deep plot so maybe that will keep you entertained and not bored. The mc is not dumb from what I understand and has his own morals. BL You’ve Got The Wrong House, Villain - The mc is quite non expressive, but since it’s translated by RubyMaybe, maybe it will be enjoyable. The mc does not have many chances to show her intelligence but she doesn’t do dumb things. She’s got her own morals to follow by too. BG

If you liked Trash of the count’s family, give Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint and S-classes that I raised a shot. ORV is a fabulous albeit meta story while S-classes is a decent read. They’re not identical to TCF, but more like cousins and have a similar feeling to them (MC is the heart)

Others I know of aren't here but still include it anyway: Storm and Silence by Robert Thier - old Britain setting, where chauvinistic bastards are present but one stubborn headed feminist takes the gall to dress up as a man and work as a secretary for the richest man in the world. Anyway, it happens as she had accidentally helped him save money as the ML is SO DAMN STINGY. So he owes her and doesn't know she's a woman so offers a job and when he realizes he made her dressup as it will be SHAMEFUL at that time to have a woman secretary (unheard of). Banter here, banter there. Never chummy but kills you with laughter.
