When we're looking back at the global covid-19 shutdown, what name do you think we'll call it? Other big events have cool names like 9/11, the great depression, the plague, etc. What would be a cool title for this that would be fun any easy to teach kids in school?
Dunno, but if textbooks can support theme songs (tabluts), then this should at least be a strong contender Bye, Corona! For the pop culture plebs begging for crumbs..
Really dunno why there's scarcity of toilet paper on other countries. What were lacking now on the country I am in were alcohols and mask tho. Hrmmmm...
CCP virus. You can google it already. There are increasing number of people calling it CCP virus on the net as opposed to Covid-19. Once or if USA starts calling it CCP virus, the rest of the world will follow because everyone know's it's CCP's fault and they're still not repenting.
It will not be named. Though this period of general instability may, as it all fits in together. Early on in the decade, the world experienced political, climate and economic instability, which unfortunately caused a massive upsurge of crises(immigrants). These crises had the unfortunate effect in allowing nationalism, populism, general anti-science, and right wind populist sentiments to gain a foothold in the democracies of the world. As the pandemic hit, these conservative populist leaders acted slowly due to a lack of financial incentive and their anti-science stances. Short term financial stability was the aim, disregarding the potential damages in the future.
I hope the whole world is not as immoral as the person who coined the term CCP virus. Others are free to be stupid and immoral, the rest do not ought to follow
The beginning of the great depression of early XXI? After all the economy was fated to go to shit in 2020~22, it was just that the virus brought it faster. It may also be the beginning of many governments cutting costs and reforming their bureaucratic system to make it easier and faster to act when there's a need of taking urgent decision, maybe having less things delegated to the State........ or maybe make the countries more dependant on the State, giving it more power
