Well shit... I don't think I could handle the devestating consequences such an invention would entail. Edit: "★ Learn kanji meanings and readings" What does the interface look like? Is there a way to view what certain kanji means? If it does, then it would be a great help in learning japanese. Sadly though, I don't have a pc so I'll probably neverve able to use this.

I wonder how well developed the image capture and reading is that it's working off of. There's not a small number that don't use clearly defined text areas. It's why people are wary of investing the time into MTL manga. The reviews aren't very clear on this, but do have some serious complaints.

The moment to get italics, written or some color too close nearby, they tend to mess up Probably to make this work well you would need to do something similar to font recognition websites , let person select then isolate each char and let them adust the char boxes Though if it uses google machine learning image translation api, then who knows
Interesting, I mean MTLs can only improve from now on right? Not like google's not investing in making the translations better. I'll give it a decade of wait though, I love my sanely sane mind
