Lets say life is a game how much you like it ? please rate it on 0 to 5 and what kind flaw and feature you think need to fix... tell me your review detailed or not PS. like review on steam....
While the graphics, sound, etc, and immersion are great, unfortunately I am just one of the minor npc's at the edge of the map, without any real impact on the story or gameplay...
2/5 Graphics were great in the past and everything looked great, but were downgraded for some reason after a few patches. I am now using mods to improve the looks, but it's still not satisfactory in my opinion. Constant Multiplayer focus is a big minus for me. And even though the current global event favors solo players, it's still nearly impossible to play fully solo unless you got the right spawning conditions and made the right choices. Continuing on, wether respawing is a thing or not is highly debated. Some say players who lose get sent to their a completely different server, others say the data gets wiped before just respawning and again others say the game runs on Hardcore mode and there is no second try. Progression is often tied to spawn location as well and it requires a lot of effort to break out of a spot. And even with lots of effort it might be difficult to actually get a high rank. Especially because the top-ranks are extremely competitive and not in favor of even more competition. Yet progressing is almost necessary if one does not wish to lose as it is basically required to get "Money". Basically if you have enough of this stuff you almost cannot lose, which is also why I would almost call this game p2w. However, since I cannot prove that there is a way to improve the spawning luck beforehand or directly influence the game from the outside somehow that is in the air. Still, the available extra activities that have mostly no benefit towards any "meaningful" goal are very enjoyable and updated quite often. Sadly these are sometimes rather inconsistent in quality and (usually) also require "Money".
False advertisement. There is a monthly fee (taxes, rents, etc) You can go as far as your money or governments allow. Silly to outright dangeous npcs true but irrelevant if you get caught, fines and/or jail true but depends on your avatar's health
I would give it 5/5. The developers did a great job on crafting this dystopian world. I am looking forward to the Augmentation update.
You make a good point, in that case 0 because all human players are assholes and they run around everywhere.
Figuratively speaking, irl is basically a game where you can only have one life, game over means you're dead, No checkpoints, Unbalanced system, No characterization and gender options, Randomized talent and stats (Debuffs/penalty included), Randomized starting point, Randomized luck, and No refunds. They wiped all of your memories before you started the game and let's not mention the randomized deadly disease that will kill you just for fun. The best part? There's no glitch to take advantage and zero chance for you to directly hack the game. It is basically Dark soul, but on steroids. The good news is that you're not alone, not the first, and definitely not the last. There are people dying before, beside, and after you. If you're smart (According to the roll you get from the starting point), then you will make use of other's experience to your advantage. Running out on your own and you'll die in no time! But don't worry, until you're an adult, they give you a tutorial stage if you're lucky (Having a family). If you're unlucky (Orphan/disabled), then suck to be you getting early dark soul even when you have low level. That said, there's no need to reach end game boss. Regular player would stop in the nearest safe zone and lived there. While the ambitious and lunatics would raid more to gain more power, while enticing people to die for them.
When you join the game where the game already in devastating state from corrupted kingdom, since all the previous player failed to clear the kingdom development related quest.
Would we even get to see it/them in the first place? Or is it something we will come across in the afterlife? Hmm… But so far, whether respawning is possible or not is unknown, and there hasn't been anyone that gave precise knowledge of the afterlife. So we're pretty much in the dark about who/what is the end game boss? (PS: The christians said it's Lucifer. The stage would be armaggeddon)
The last boss is the sun's inevitable transformation into a red giant, but humanity will almost definitely get a game over before then
