While I agree to a certain extent she's still not getting off scott-free. Remember she is a disgraced actress with several scandals and has pretty much been black listed. I think she lost a lot of money too for broken contracts. What i find interesting is that she came to this world, made very similar mistakes and was disgraced, just like in Korea. But even by going back the only thing she'll have is her life. I think her transportation to the other world was supposed to be a second chance but she used it as an escape. It would be nice if she learned something at the very least.
I've finished it, it's fine really, this manhwa is very fluffy. Adelaide really doesn't fall into any traps because she is pretty smart and pays a lot of attention. The saint does cause problems, but never between the main couple. In the very last chapter, it is implied that she is still in this world, working as a cleaning lady. So she probably jumped into the lake, nothing happened, she crawled out somewhere and fled. And now without the fancy make-up and dresses, noone recognizes her anymore.
Well for someone as proud as her, to waste her life away at the literal bottom of the bottom of the bottom of the food chain until her death seems pretty fitting in my opinion. After all, while she did try to do a bunch of shady stuff, she never actually succeeded and nothing really happened. Most of the "hardcore" stuff was done by that noble backing her, and he is executed if I recall correctly.
