On the news and a lot of others, what is now called the Great Firewall of China is taken place.
"CCP NEW GAMING BAN" will now NOT ALLOW for Chinese players to play online games that dosnt has exclusive chinese servers and all other games that allow gaming with foreigners is banned, game with content of zombies and plagues, map editing, roleplaying, as well as games that allow organizing a union/guild in games are banned, plus One-player online games will also be subject to surveillance and will completely ban freely socialize without monitoring. And to top it off, players are now forced to use their real life names as usernames and it must be verified before they are even allowed to play....

Damn im glad i dont live there. But speaking seriously... this is terrible news. Here is one of the links, others can be found in google

Isn't this old news? I swear I saw a similar post in Reddit a week or two ago.

I wonder how this will afect League of Legends server surfing. Maybe it will just turn into another 'Korea'. As Korea also needs ur real life data to make an account for videogames.

Satan knows what will happen in the future.

Translators may lose their '''''rights'''''' / 'ability' of accessing CN novels if they start tightening control over foreign access to their data in the near future.

Qidian would become the only source of CN novels. Im gonna laugh my ass off if my prophecy comes true. Novel Updates will never be the same anymore. Maybe we will turn into a 'drug dealer' type of website lol.
It was more for the 'now' rather than anything. Just time stamps issues.

Well, considering that we are talking about China, it's just a matter of time until they ban something that's not created by them.

Surprised they didn't do it sooner. This was a major leak in there information control. It would have allowed their citizens to gather outside opinions, many of which are poisonous to their control freak regime.

Pretty ironic that the fight for freedom in HK accelerated China's control over their population.

Life tends to do that. Laugh at your face.

One less toxic player base to worry about. Those are the reason I don't like mmorpg. Then again which country does not have toxic playerbase?
