Resolved 杀 vs 殺 meaning?

    im reading sha po lang rn and i saw 2 variants of shā in the titles. both seem to be chinese and mean the same thing. is it a difference of trad. vs simplified? im confuse. i searched online but the searches all came up in chinese oop

    issa really cool title tho. so layered. so many meanings. hence despite all the hurt im back again throwing myself in the knife pit to learn chinese.

    Looks like it's just traditional vs simplified :)

    杀 is simplified whereas 殺 is traditional.
