I like if mc is have being awre of ml feelings and have a healthy relationship with ml and not dependent and don't usually don't chase someone that are slag and scum and belitle themselves

As long as MC is not super Mary Sue, anything goes for me.

 

for uke/shou MC i like the kind that can stand on his own even without ML's help, it's even better if he's not described too feminine/always be a damsel in distress. "Earth is online" or "Card room" MC are one of the best IMO.

if it's seme/gong MC i like it if he's goofy type or loyal dog type.. overbearing and cold-aloof face is boring.

My favourite would be an MC(uke) that everyone underestimates and thinks is weak but is actually badass and the ML knows it and supports the MC. Another favourite troupe of mine is when the uke mc is the villainy type and feared by everyone and the seme ml is the righteous one who everyone respects.

 

Power couple tag proves that both the MC and the ML are capable and strong, individually and together. As long as the MC is rational, honest and has upright morals, I'll like him. Example is Little Witch (Wu Jin) from Surprise! The Supposed Talent Show Was Actually–?! . There are many admirable MCs out there. I'm not good with names leleleles

 

A uke/shou MC who has some backbone, a reasonable dose of common sense and intelligence (both IQ and EQ), and isn't an damsel or pushover. Bonus if they aren't innocent, naive, sparkly beings.

A seme/gong MC who isn't too overbearing, respectful, has a reasonable dose of common sense and intelligence (both IQ and EQ), and maintains the level of intelligence in matters regarding the uke/seme. Also, does not induce the need to enforce a restraining order on behalf of the uke/seme. Doesn't matter if the characters end up together eventually or if the uke/seme always forgives. Some actions simply demand a restraining order.

 

Agency.

Oh, to add, aside from being Super Mary Sues, I don't like MCs who treat their MLs like plague(sh*t) or something. Really turns me off. Why then would MC get together with ML just to treat them like that? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Examples: TSVSSS or I am a Chef in The Modern World. Both MCs, I feel, just forced themselves to accept their MLs.

Aside from the above pet peeves, anything goes.

 

I like the cold, proud and strong MCs, the silly and dumb MCs with small means, the vicious ascetic power-hungry MCs, and the scum-gong-turned-shou MCs. They're just more fun to read.

I dislike too thirsty MC and ML, except the novel is about smut I don't mind.

 

To be smart, he doesn't need to be op, but also not a dumb character. I like mcs who can take care of themselves, but also likes to take care of others. I like them to be calm. I love when MC accept his love for the ml without too much drama and they can finally engage in a healthy relationship!

 

Mc who is actually smart , not feminine, not an idiot without common sense, not like those where author describing mc as above the heavens but on every occasion needed ml help , have life skills , if written as strong should be strong one not getting injured every other day ,cherishes himself,mature personality ,not delicate/soft type, doesn't self abuse himself with his zero common sense, have his own independent personality.

 

Gosh we have the same taste, can u recommend me some novel with above characteristics cause, I'm running out off novel to read (please)

Idk I don't find a lot of good novel BL sigh, one of good is transmigrating to mob to rehabilitate villain.

I like when a MC has reasonable intelligence or more, both EQ and IQ. EQ is not a total necessity but there has to be a degree of awareness of one's own feelings within the MC. Then even if he's quite dense, stuff can still be solved with the ML with honest and open communication.
I like it when the MC values himself, is kind but knows how to survive, has skills, clearly expresses himself, doesn't let himself be pushed around, is smart and strong (whatever type of strength that may be).

as long as it's mutual and obviously consensual, I like anything whether it be a puppy love couple furiously blushing from holding hands and kissing or 24/7 horndog couple that just can't get enough of each other . As long as everyone is content, anything goes!
