I honestly don't get the outrage in the article. The mods seem aware that their decision is a bit silly, but they're playing it safe for the sake of their own servers. Better to refuse some mods that are basically harmless, than to get their server taken down because they were too lax. That's all there is to it. Aye, video game characters being sexualized is a pretty normal thing, really. Like, geez, doomsayers talking about how videogames will no longer have sexualization or whatever because censorship and stuff are just silly... Those things won't go anywhere. Pretty much! \(^^)/
And these probably the same people that seek to ban conservative religious clothing as well trying to imprint to minors that they weren't males or females because they're born with corresponding sexes. I wonder how crazy our world would seems to people that lived 10 or 20 years ago.
"Don't believe what you hear. People are saying that the government is using this time of quarantine to change the batteries in the birds but that is false. Because they are actually rechargeable." I forget the video but I couldn't help laughing.
In nutshell Sjw is keep pushing banning anime stuff In fanservice industry Loli for men and shota for women is the first victim Then busty anime girl and orc Now is specific fetish like these tattoo. But I think as novel reader we also should care since this also happen (quote from Rt article) "The Rising of the Shield Hero’ was deemed controversial in the USA because it included a storyline about a false accusation of rape. In the politically correct era of the Me Too movement, the suggestion that a woman might make a false accusation was considered provocative. The listen-and-believe agenda was deemed to apply to fiction. If Western partners – so politicised and vulnerable to social media pressure – were involved in assessing storylines, would such a plot be approved? Western companies, staffed by individuals with assertive political and social outlooks, will attempt to influence Japanese studios, imposing their own beliefs. When progressives have the ability to meddle in the creative process they will not hold back, even if it leads to disastrous financial consequences. We already have evidence of this in the collapse of American superhero comics."
Dude... it's not the government bird batteries being changed you need to worry about, it's that they are using this time to update the recipes in the major restaurant chains to better their mind control serum. It's harder to tell the difference if it's been months since you last tasted your fast food snack! They do the same thing with the Mc Rib... only this time they get to overhaul the whole damn menu without much fear.... I'm also just as full of shit as the person that came up with the birds needing batteries....
I think it's a bit too much of fearmongering tbh... Like... They can try influencing the Japanese market... Will they succeed? Probably not. I mean, their mangas, novels and animes are primarily aimed to the Japanese audience anyways. They can keep doing what they do best and things will be fine. It really feels like excessive doomsaying for something that most likely won't happen. I mean, geez, ecchi anime is still strong and popular. Fanservice is a core part of some genres and I seriously doubt there is any intention of killing that entirely.
