I think you just need to read the first arc, it's very long. The author of Coiling Dragon

I'm sorry but this was just hilarious. I just need to quote this comment. Anyway, I just finished Seeking Good Temptation and the last couple chapters had me bawling my eyes out. I thought I was done crying but I reread it and cried again.

The novel I cried the most and read the fastest (because I couldn't put it down, I skipped dinner to read it in a day) was probably 'Chinese Cinderella' during middle school... Man that was an exhausting day.
Recent reads would be those QT novels where the MC keeps dying at the end in the most tragic way (and I keep crying even though I know that the MC is faking it...)

I get emotionally invested in stories so I do end up crying sometimes . Recently the one that made me reach for tissues is Heaven’s Blessing .

All the turmoil the MC goes through made me cry. I am an easy crier through

the mc’s devotion and love towards the ml had me in my feels I rmb a scene where she said something along the lines “if only he could love me a fraction as much as he loved her. I don’t want much just a fraction.” I could hear my heart shatter when I read that  there also was another part where
    she almost died for him
and she said “tell me something to make me feel better it hurts” he asked what she wanted to hear which she replied “tell me you like me” and he said “I love you” sigh these parts made me sob so hard that I basically remembered the dialogue as u can see HAHA

I admit, a lot of books have made me cry, but the one I remember the most is three days of happiness. that one is killer.

    There's quite a lot
    Hako no Naka
I cried at the extra about MC's step son. Not only it talks about the MC's relationship at old age (which is super rare even for hetero storyline), it's also a story about a son and father (like figure).
I still read it every time I want to read something touching and warm at the same time.

    Mulberry song

Somehow it feels like the author didn't know how to end the story. Crow's background story feels so detached from the main storyline, and the ending didn't feel like proper closure. TBH I just feel happy the novel ends when reading the last chapter.

Legend of Sun Knight, No Hero, and Unique Legend definitely made me cry at some point when the MCs had to go through so much suffering. Yu Brothers' Case Book gets an honourable mention because the ending and side story were so sweet, and it made me so happy that the MCs got the love they deserved after all they'd been through. Mo Dao Zu Shi and Heavens Official's Blessing also get honourable mentions for just the tragedy and love that the main characters endure throughout the entire series.

I’m too emotionally weak when it comes to tragic works. So I don’t read such novels or watch anything close to it too.

but I’ve shed drops while reading novels over the years, and when it comes to translated novels, only in issth (one of my first novels in the translation world) when his first lover/wife dies? Don’t really remember their relation, but damn, I went crying through the night. That scene was well written tbh.
