The following it how I frequently tweet the following message. I have posted this message when Twitter searching something like "Disney Fox -news -hound" and do it at least 10x a day and have done so regularly for since at least the last week of March: -Now, for the second thread. This is thread is a bit about the Fox movie empire's role with animation. Gertie the Dinosaur gets mentioned in this thread. twitter.com/MurrellDan/status/12182746796280217. a. They both are building up to the fact that Disney dropping "Fox" from "20th Century Fox" was a bad thing (no argument from me on that). -Let's get these nearly 4-month old Twitter threads to go even viral, please. Surely there is at least 1 member in this group with a Twitter account or knows a person with a Twitter account that could quickly help get a thread get 5000+ retweets and/or likes. Word the tweets how you see fit but, please include those Twitter address links.
I'm not really sure what this is about but. I'm interested in that thread about Gertie the Dinosaur. But the link isn't working.
Your fascination on Fox is starting to bleed out as obsession. You ok bro? Quarantine getting to you?
Quarantine is not getting to me like that. I don' know if my OCD or Asperger's has to do with such an obsession. It is more of free will for such an obsession. I could choose to drop such an obsession but am not going to, though I know not to bring it my Fox obsession and rant about it in every on-line/real life social situation that I end up in. @Meloonseed: Here is the link. I did a copy-paste error with that initial post: twitter.com/MurrellDan/status/1218274679628021760.
Maybe this will get your attention: While there were animated movies before Gertie, Gertie was both the first animated character with a personality and first dino-centric film. Arguably without Gertie, there would be no subsequent animated movies. Gertie heavily inspired Walt Disney who was among the people that heavily inspired "Astro Boy" creator Osamu Tezuka. Without Tezuka, the modern aesthetics of anime as we know it would not exist. Basically, Tezuka is that guy that really made modern anime as we know it. Thus, without McCay and Mr. Fox, in part, there is the argument that modern anime as we know it would not exist.
