I’d like to recommend “The Only Favorite Ugly Husband.” It’s not imperial, both MC and ML are peasants, but it is old-timey (but with gers) and the relationship is pretty fluffy. Although there are family feuds too.

I think you can find my review on the second review page? As for what it’s about: If I remember correctly, it’s a transmigration and rebirth story, where MC lives his second transmigrated life. He was originally in love with this other transmigrated girl until she betrayed him. In this life, I think he wants revenge and to keep his life?

Golden Stage is probably my favorite historical BL romance right now. Imperial Uncle has some really good and intriguing court politics, but if you're looking for a 1v1 romance where it's obvious who MC will get together with from the start... Well, this isn't it. To Rule in a Turbulent World is pretty good too, but it's less palace drama, and more... farming saga and then war drama. Oh, and I find it pretty draggy, relationship-wise, but Those Years In Quest Of Honour Mine might be worth checking out too.
