Discussion What would you do if 3 kids were beating another kid?

I sometimes see this kind of setting in mangas where 2~7 students beat up another kid (who can fight) for some reason. I wonder what you people would do.

Dude, if there is an option to call their teacher, then there is no reason to do anything else.

 

Depends on the location. On school grounds, I would get a teacher or campus security. If I was on my way home from school, I would take a picture, call the cops, put them on speaker and start calling out names as I advanced to break up the fighting.

 

Yeah but in most mangas I read, the teacher can't really do anything

 

If it's 1v1 I would like to enjoy watching it.
But ganging up on someone make angry so I would ask them to stop. Lucky or not I got scary face so fights tends to keep away from. I tried to pick up a fight with one person to hit me first so I can do self defense for the fun but the classmates stop it. If I don't have strict asian parents, I would have become deliquent lol.

which mangas are you reading? I feel like you haven't read any of the good school life ones:
GTO and Assassination classroom are among the best, and even regular rom-com has at least one responsible/semi-responsible teacher.

It depends. If it's clear bullying, no amount of help will save the kid. The kid has to save himself. If Ai-chan helps him, the next time he will be bullied even worse, except when that happens, Ai-chan won't be around to help him. The only person who can help a bully victim is the victim himself.

If it's a two-way fighting, Ai-chan will call the cops on them or at least pretend to call the cops to break them up. If it's gangwar, Ai-chan will stay away and then call the cops. The cops have special unit for these type of things. No point in a civilian jumping into the fray.

 

Ignore it if it is nobody related to you..

Film it and blackmail the 3 kids out of some quick bucks or a favour. Maybe give the evidence to the kid so that he is given the opportunity of standing up for himself like what our goddess Ai-chan said.

 

It totally depends on the situation, which is why white knighting isn't necessarily a good idea. That one kid might be ganged up on cause he committed a heinous crime for example, so if you go in and "help" him you could be aiding a criminal. The only safe decision is call the cops while out of sight and let them handle it.

 

Option 2,3 and 4 are Death Traps.
Option 2 makes you a meaningless cannon fodder for the bad Side (the 3 People most likely)
Option 3 makes you a worthy cannon fodder, after they beat you the MC will awaken and take revenge for you.
Option 4 make you only a Minior Villian cannon fodder, after a passing by Master/Grandmaster comes to save the MC and Beat the cannon fodder up.
