Note that NY Post is a sibling publication of sorts to Fox News as they both are owned by media giant Rupert Murdoch*, so their reliability is questionable at times, perhaps even for this story. However, this sounds like a real-life isekai or sorts or something like it.

*-Shame on Rupert Murdoch for selling off most of the Fox Empire, for the USDOJ permitting a semi-monopoly, and Disney for buying. 1000s of lay-offs are not worth it. Uncle Walt and film producer William Fox would not approve of this merger.

The whole article contradict themselves saying "evidence" of it being exist on one part and then saying the existence quoted are a part of a "hypothesis" on the other end.

Well the anomaly is such that none of the physicists have a definite answer, so all the theories are on the table. And these news media just take the part that's more click worthy.

Actually some science journals web have said it might be from some intergalactic neutrino accelerators, but it still leaves many loop holes.


But still, we the common public shouldn't lose hope and not be overly pragmatic on this.
