The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis - they were THE FIRST magic fantasy novels I read when I was a young kid. They blew my mind when compared to the stories for young children I had been reading then. However, much later I learned that it was Christian propaganda and was very disappointed.

I'd say Mushoku Tensei left a lasting impression on me
(If we're talking published western novels than i'd have to say the Wheel of Time series really stuck out to me)

i can see your a person with quite refined sensibilities.

a Harry Potter fanfic, "From Southampton to New York and Beyond" by Dorothea Greengrass.
I think that the story is well planned, and the development is very good. But, probably it's biased of me because I hated the epilogue of Harry Potter.

Just beyond amazing, never knew a story could be so immersive and concepts to be able to push my imagination to stretch in such ways! The first couple chapters are rocky, but it very quickly becomes a work of art. Compared to all the English novels I’ve read, this still ranks number 1 for me.
It helps that the translation quality is amazing! The vocabulary used and sentence structures make you forget this is translated.
It’s coming to an end so I’ve re-read it twice and each read opens up my eyes to how storylines start developing before I was even aware, the immaculate details I’ve missed, the ingenious foreshadowing :blobnosebleed:
To be honest I could go on forever :blobrofl: but yeah, to anyone who hasn’t, please give it a go, it deserves a read.

No Game No Life LN because of its seemingly impossible ways the Shiro and Sora win and how something insignificant is actually a very big deal and more things like that. I just love love this series, love it so much it's the first LN I brought for myself

True Martial World, I don't know why I always remember this novel eventhough many people say that this novel is the epitome of bland and full of filler
