How much do you think stuff like super soldier serum, devil fruits, cultivation techniques and stuff would sell for in the real world? Lets not count governments and giant entities buying them for research purposes. Lets also assume that everybody knows that they are real.
Money loses value, they can't be bought by money, it will be back to barter. or at the least it will be in billions. I wouldn't bet on getting any good stuff if I depend on what's gonna come to market, I'd rather try getting one myself. (Though I might buy ones that are dirt cheap, like fluorescent skill, or sound mimicry. Even these will be in millions or in thousands).
For general public (or black market) 120% of production cost or 20 million $ (cost of a f-16), whatever is higher assuming that the super power is lower or equal to f-16
supply and demand that the basic~ easier to find redundant resource will affect many thing~ hence for now unless there clear world building imo there really no exact value beside it maybe expensive~ example super soldier serum~ at beginning when no one posses such thing it may on par with hmmm light tank perhaps? cuz for da elite but as more country correction more people posses such thing it may dropped to assault riffle price~
You could name your own price; although anyone willing to spend any significant amount of money would want it for research unless they planned to act as a middle man.
Depends on the scarcity. Is this a world like “My Hero Acadamia,” where 80% of the population has super powers? Or are the super power giving items rare? The price would also likely depend on what power the item gave you, with “better” powers being a higher price.
My guess is they would be made originaly by goverments (atleast the super soldier serum) and no sale will ever happen. Afterall, even a small effeckt can have great effect. If not under strickt control, I would guess it depends on how much it costs to make and their demand/supply...
Well, healing powers could help those in poverty-stricken areas but cause pharmaceutical companies stock to plummet. In other words, a good thing I suppose.
dude, just think of the possibilities. in what standards does the power truly deem as a person being "healed"? does it involve healing someone mentally? what if there's a pedo and the guy tries to "heal" him but he's just the same, but healing a gay person magically makes him straight or vice versa. this would open up a whole nother' possibility of discussion towards mental health, not just some "i got a boo boo on my leg and now it's alright"
The pedo thing, sure. For the gay person, no because the gay person would have the choice on whether or not they relinquish being gay.
These superpowers would wreck the economy tbh. Economies would be collapsing either from those powers or governments trying to "regulate"/"control" them as they need to do in order to regulate the market as a mixed economy. Inflation would fly out of the window and the Gay Bears from Wall Street would have field days in which insane amounts of money is lost or won. To put a price on superpowers you need to have a working world economy, which I don't think will fly.
With the amount of gold being taken out of circulation thanks to electronics..etc, and the finite source/pace of mining, gold will still be lucrative no matter what. The market would only dip if you flood it with a bunch all at once, but if you sell it with the timing done right, it wouldn't make that much of a difference.
Depends on the quality and availability of power, and how easy it is to acquire them. For example, a very common power to see a new color would be worth considerably less then a very rare power that allows you to teleport at will
