Yeah, especially recent romance kinda not my type T w T) I prefer no romance at all, it is better like pure not spoiled! Sometimes I get angry because the plot stuck because the love interest sake!!!! Can't kill because I like him/her-- then all allies died because MC keep the love interest.... I get super angry, they are your bro and comrade!!, dont forget about them!!!
And the one I dislike the most is plot focused but at the middle there's romance added then romance focus until the end....not plot focus anymoree.... better no romance or stated romance at start than being like that.. I want comrade type or no romance more, too bad it is like a needle in haystack..
ikr, i often dropped some novels because it suddenly focused on romance and the love interest. the plot was good but then suddenly came the bad written romance, especially if the love interest is so annoying, i'm like oof bye. though i really don't like romance, there's too few novels to read so i just read even those with the tag 'romantic subplot', go to the forum's spoilers to see in which chapter would the love interest and the mc would get together and skip unimportant scenes whenever they're alone together and sometimes drop the novel if i can't take it anymore HAHA~
