    As someone who was going to buy the switch version tommorow so I can play it anywhere, I feel a bit weird seeing them just give it away for free. On one hand, I can save some money, but on the other, it's portable Borderlands, how can I not buy it.

    Shame it's on the Epic store, but if someone has somehow made it to the present day without playing Borderlands 2 (specifically, 2), I highly recommend it. Grab it while you can. Or get it from a Steam sale because I wouldn't take it free from Epic.

    On the topic of epic games, does anyone else get a reset password notification?

    I tried login into my account, but it said to check my mailbox to reset my account. But there's no email from the site at all..

    Nah man take it free. Doesnt mean you've got to play it. Epic has to pay in some fashion for all the giveaways. Takes money out of their pockets

    If I rememer it right, Steam has a feature where you can root your own game and connect it to the Steam UI. I remember that I was playing Banish before and connected it to steam. I can open chat and every UI shortcut. Whats the difference now if you bought it from Steam store?

    I cant login to epic to get the free games.. that bothers me.
    But since i rarely play those free games... i guess not that much..

    Why would Epic be unsafe?
    This is the third game in a row I got there, though I've only played some Civ6 so far. Epic doesn't have any of my real info and the only time I've opened its app was to install the game - I don't run any non-essential apps at startup.

    The only bad things about them I've seen after a quick search are their exclusive titles and some year old conspiracy theories about data selling.
    If you have some actual concerns about the store, please tell me what they are so I can take them into account too.
    Make a new account just for the freebies?
