Question Martial Peak - group translation possible?

    I was looking the martial peak novel, it’s ok on manhwa and people say it’s better on novel.

    The problem is that’s a novel of 5100 raw chapters, with 1273 translated only. By my math, 2 chapters a day for the more or less 3900 remaining chapters is about 1850 days, about 5 years, and that’s a hype killer.

    Like one posted by people above me go to LNMTL or go to the raws website, then let google-sensei translate that for you and read it as it is... You'll get used to it anyways.

    Or better yet, the hard part. Learn actual Chinese language(Mandarin/Simplified Chinese, I think?) for 2 to 3 years, then read the raws for better clarification, you'll save 2 or so years of untranslated content and you easily find or read hidden gems for yourself w/o waiting for translators to pick it up for future convenience

    honestly 2 chapters a day is fine with me. and there are constant updates. and there are times they do more than that i think. i really enjoy the ln and its really one of the only ln i look forward to reading every day. would greatly encourage reading it. there isnt really any megacliffs or filler imo.

    or come back in 5 yrs i dunno

    It's 13 chapters each week currently. More people need to donate on patreon for more ...
    With 5325 chapters out (https://lnmtl.com/novel/martial-peak). Or atleast that got MTL. With more on the way (2 chapters each day, as far as I can tell)
    So, lets just say it's done with todays chapters.

    With 1276 coming out today of TL and 5325 of raw.
    That is the same as 4049 chapters to go.
    4049 ÷ (13 ÷ 7) = 2180,2 (13 ÷ 7 is to get days until done)
    2180 days is about the same as 6 years...

    And honestly I kinda doubt it will take less than 10years...

    EDIT: Yes, I know it's writen in bad english, I just don't want to fix it... to lazy...

    Well, thx for all the replies, sometimes i forgot that wb translation are seriously money hunter. My idea of group translation was naive.

    kinda of strange for me, no guarantee of a full delivered work or work schedule with a unknow influx of money. But then, it’s voluntary and no one is obliged to pay.

    Gonna go to other works for now.
