They commit treason and collude with Mr. Lu in order to frame ML for the treason, causing ML to be imprisoned.

If I remember correctly he was the one who contacted Yan first and offered to give the map(?) that too because there were some rumours that the ML is going to be with that qin playing dude like I was just????? Here because throwing your cash cow into jail for treason doesn't seem to be a very smart move also considering he only did that NOT to lose ML to qin guy
I just started reading this and OMG!!!! The SMUT in this novel is just to good. ML couldn't get enough of the MC. MC appeared to a horney fella but we learn so much about the drawing that meant the world to him unlike the ML. Just reading this novel proven to me that BL CNovel is very intense. MC is a timid, indifferent and kind person. He is also lonely and hasn’t been pampered his entire life until the ML. Even after all the pampering, ML is still not in his heart. It turns out he was betrayed and chose to never love someone again. It broke my heart reading this and all I can hope for is how much longer will I have to wait until he fully gives his heart to the ML. ML is also very frustrating due to the fact he is supposedly in love with someone but is so upset when the MC hasn’t given him his heart. He has so much expectations but he also hasn’t realized he loves the MC for himself not because he thinks he see his supposedly love shadow in the MC. Smh smh
