If I remember correctly, the reason why she didn’t cancel it was because they had been going on two separate flights, and her little sister was already on the flight by the time she rebirthed. So one of her main goals was to find her sister ASAP so she could protect both siblings.
A flight that takes one whole day? Can't call her siblings in that one day since they're on flight for the whole day? No international calls? Is it 2010? Edit: I'm just nitpicking the small gears that moved the plot. It might have better explanation in the story that probably would made these have more sense that what it is described.
