FtM novels aren't very common, but they definitely exist, and good novels like that certainly exist as well, but since the overall number of FtM novels is relatively small when compared to MtF, the amount of good novels that play on this trope is comparatively smaller. It's not a genre I'm particularly fond of, so I never read many of them. The only one I can recommend is 1/2 Prince.
