Everyone in my family knows my sleeping habit of taking nap in the evening. Today I came home tired and laid down to sleep and omg—my brother cooked his fishy dish that stink up the entire house. The smell was so annoying and then I was woke up by my mom deciding she was gonna vacuum her room. I feel like an inflated balloon ready to explode!!! I just wanna scream at everyone and tell them to F off—which is like the weirdest thing. I don’t usual feel like this. Sigh—I need to go for a run before I say things I regret. Did your family piss you off recently?
Goes to study, suddenly my father starts speaking to his phone loudly. Goes to study, mom comes by to ask me how I'm doing and if I need anything (which although nice and sweet, breaks my concentration more than anything else and annoys me). Goes to study, suddenly someone will watch a video with sound on and it will be enough to distract me. But! I have found a solution! I simply will listen to music while reading My parents always told me it was bad to listen to music while studying because when you went to write the exams you wouldn't have music around you, etc. Such bullshit... I wish I had tried listening to music while studying earlier. Might have even made me study more, enjoy it a little more.
This is me.... My parent always call me when i am dozing off and then nothing happened. just calling my name.
If only I had them... Edit: also it's not a common problem for me since I usually am away from home on university.

With no intention of turning this religious or political(HONEST!!) Just about any conversation with my bible thumping diehard Republican family turns either heavily religious or political. It's to the point when other talk about either topic I start to rant about it... needless to say only the family doesnt get the hint I could give two shits less about the latest didohead news, how I live a life of sin(quite happily I might add), or how I should come around more often...
They get angry when they call someone and no one answer, even if they're in the front door and the one they call are in the backyard. Yesterday I was taking a nap when mom angrily shout at me after she saw me sleeping and answering her call which is ridiculous because ¹ I was sleeping ² she also got angry because I didn't tell her I'm going to sleep even if they knew that's my routine
If I remember my intro to psychology course correctly (from years and years ago so it may have changed): Listening to music while studying actually helps your brain encode the information. Of course it's better retrieved if you listen to the same music when taking a test, but that's not likely to happen.
My sister got pissed at me for not answering the door when she got locked out and started banging on it. Then tried to blame me for not hearing it as if I should always be paying attention to the door and answering it immediately if someone is there... Sorry I was focused on watching youtube and trying to eat dinner sis....

Same year sister starts 7thgrade="good job, you get a smart phone" I did not get a smart phone till my senior year, and even then it was my sister old one cause she got the new iphone. Me graduated high school= good job never really thought ypu passed" i graduated with around 3.45. Sister starts junior yr in HS= "good job you get a car" the car was under my name but my technically it my sister. Parents says i will get a car after graduating college Me graduated from college =" good job now you have nothing to do" Sister as a junior in college = " here is a new honda civc for ypu that is under ypur name, we should your sister's "car" to pay for it. So yeah they hella piss me off with this biases of how they treat my sister better then me even though they say they treated me and my sister with equality.
My family gets up at weird hours. I go to bed at 2-3 am, like a normal person, and they wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning! Who does that?
... the world has been dancing and shaking, but my household haven’t change a bit. We still going to work, eating, and spanking each other kind every other day. Did you know millions of people are questioning covid right now? We were told going out could kill our elders but When USA was protesting for “racial segregation” covid disappears for an entire week! Everyone who was out in the street protesting/looting/rioting were declared immune by the health experts in USA!! Anyway, let’s not talk too much about this. This is politic after all. U don’t have dental insurance? Apply for medi-cal! Poor u.
