    I just found out that Er Gen's A Will Eternal is getting an anime adaptation. It is animated by the same studio that made MDZS (Founder of Demonic Path).

    The first episode should come out in a few weeks time. I wonder how it will turn out.

    Chinese anime adaptations is abominable.
    They massacre every series that I love.
    Only a small amount of manhua did it right.

    I've only watched a couple chinese animes before and I thought they were done well.

    I found the PV for this anime, it looks promising at least.

    I rather liked they style for the MDJZ anime. Also there are several pretty good Chinese animated movies like Big Fish and Begonia and Nezha.

    I wonder if this counts as necro? The PV made me laugh. Yeah, definitely adapted the comedy well. Romance sub-plot? Okay. Action? Remains to be seen. Qi? Nice effects. Soundtrack? PERFECTION.

    First you take sth mediocre like AWE, then you grind it trough the anime meme mill, and then you pray to whatever skyfairy you believe in that the result is not a hideous abomination.
    Then you remember that the sky fairies' evil pet is currendly doing a stand in and despair.
    Srsly tho, turning AWE into anything short of undiluted shittery requires near godlike skills.

    It just premiered hours ago, and the source said it is a very faithful adaptation

    "A Will Eternal premiered a few hours ago. Watched episode 1, it covers basically the first 5-6 chapters of the series. Amazing. A very faithful adaptation so far. Funny, beautiful. I’m very impressed. Will give further updates as I watch more episodes."

    Just watched it raw, even though it's been years since I first started reading it, I remember the first few chapters and the donghua is faithful and quite beautiful.

    Bai Xiaochun is one of my favorite CN MCs lol
