Discussion Are Yuri good?

I love Bl.... but i have never found the right yuri.... Moonlight garden or what does the fox say or third party... i have read these mangas but dropped it in the middle.... Is it because the plot could not interest me or yuri is just not for me?

 

Perhaps? I have no interest in Yaoi despite liking some of the shonen ai manga. Also can't get into yuri, but shoujo ai is alright. As long as it is just undertones, I am alright. But once it moves beyond kissing/petting, it just disgust me.

 

I haven't read this yuri manga, this manga is smut, not plot. There were many great yuri with plot, but you choose smut with less plot

forbidden feeling? romance? drama cuz it kinda forbidden feeling? making out? just curious? charater(interaction or growth)?

for this cat remove da gender on straight and bending story, they just same~ on bending da plus side on forbidden feeling or drama raise from it if fa story explore such theme

 

It's a large genre and there probably could be stories that interest you.
If you go for the plot, I'd recommend you read novels instead though. I have yet to find a manga with good plot.
Though i personally loved happy sugar life (most of it anyway) and 1x1/2 (haven't read it full)

Well really depends on what you like to see on a manga/novel and which title you read~

Like any other genre there are some hidden jewels which are really good and some famous works which aren't really good XD

Well I enjoy Yuri/shoujo ai quite a bit tho it's not always that I am in the mood to read them~

And seeing that you are using am avi from I favor the Villainess I will definitely read the others you recommended which I still haven't seen XD

Oh! Also it's actually a novel, but I recommend "Who moved my ashes"
It's completed with 17 chapters so it's short and a really good Yuri novel~
Which focus more on the characters~

"Half" is a webtoon I just found today and it looks good
Also "Crescent Moon and Doughnuts" is nice

 

"Fluttering Feelings" the damn best yuri manga (technically webtoon) I have read
The plot is suberb~

It doesn't really have an end because the author died before finalizing the work, but even without a final I still consider it ones of my best reads so far~
Definitely worth it~

 

My favorite are Soulmate Yuri, She is Still Cute Today And Their Story Tamen De Gushi, Her Shim Cheong. Definitely recommend it.

Hmm... I have to agree with you on Moonlight Garden, What Does The Fox Say, and Third Party. Those three were pretty weak in the plot department. I mean, there was potential there, especially with Moonlight Garden, but I guess it took a while for things to really get rolling.

Anyways, I don’t know if our tastes match up, but here are some shoujo-ai I found to be on the interesting side:

That's because you are reading smut, ecchi and r18 genre manga.
Avoid ecchi, adult and smut tags manga, you will find hidden gem yuri and Shoujo ai

 

I suggest reading Girl Friends manga. This was my very first yuri manga and the development was deep enough to make me appreciate the genre.

It a depends on what interests you. I find that shoujo ai/yuri is more emotional focused which I love.

If you want to read a story I suggest Adachi and Shimamura. It's a tad slow but the emotional impact is strong.

If you're looking for smut then it might not be the genre for you.

 

I second "Tamen de Gushi" for starting - it seems to be one that everyone likes, even if they don't usually read yuri.

What kind of stories do you usually like to read? I can find some that are more your sort of thing if you tell me first.

(Also, the yuri you've read isn't great. Pretty low quality and low effort. Just coincidental but bad luck.)

 

I find it good, I'm aware others might not do but I do, and wonder why those who don't don't, all aside, there's some nice recommendations up there and I sincerely can't think of any right now, but if I gotta say something, of the ones mentioned "I favor the villainess" is perhaps one of my favorites
