I have read upto ch. 815 and have seen no such signs. Although he is started being little aggressive than before but that is because story is moving towards little more martial arts side but that doesn't even compare to cultivation novels where 15 yr old child has killed more than him.(TBH he only killed 1 major fig. till ch 800 and maybe few his non descriptive minion that came with him).
Thats one reviewer said so not sure if it was an exaggeration. Edit: it was tides review there that complained of that.
I just read a review though most of things he says is true factually but he said in that very harsh way. 1)About love interest he was correct ML and FL suddenly grow apart may be it is because of FL was gone overseas for 2 months or her past lover return but separation was weird and seem like author did it just to introduce new rich girl but it was slowly done. 2)After becoming rich He does chooses his patients and uses his medical knowledge to teach lessons to thugs, but he still does normal consultation free to nearby villager. Most of people he refuses have bad characters and doesn't adhere to MC lifestyle changes which true since in traditional medicine is particular about one lifestyle and what to eat and what not (even in my country india) 3) More killings may be true but story focus is also changed with introductions more Martial Arts Master. 4) Many of diseases he cured are due to parasites/worms in body due to eating various seafood but considering corona virus which spreads from bat I say it doesn't seem unfounded. 5) Few innocent persons do suffers sometimes because MC wants to protect his secrets and treasures but MC makes up to them. Story is slow and peaceful that you don't notice much.
Plus I won't mind him being ruthless if the victim genuinely deserved it using systems/cheats dishing out karma makes it better so unless he's going from kindhearted to cultivation mc I wont care.

Carefree Path of Dreams: Fang Yuan's cheat is pretty unique. He has fixed stats, which means that he only has to go through any given bottleneck in his cultivation once. This works well in a novel where he cultivates from scratch over and over, since he can basically quickly restore his cultivation to its peak each time. Reverend Insanity: Fang Yuan's first cheat is pretty standard (the ability to go back in time). However, after a while his cheat is more or less countered and he gets a new cheat. This cheat is unique because it's something that would only make sense within Reverend Insanity's unique magic system Spoiler: Spoilers He gains the sovereign immortal aperture. This cheat allows him to cultivate all paths without worrying about conflicting dao marks, it's extremely large and time flows really quickly inside it. In true RI style, every advantage this cheat gives him also comes with it's own corresponding disadvantage.
