This is just what I guess (not even from the novel, okay?) Rirahel really hope that she could contain a status after she gave birth to them but the situation was not as she wanted. That's why she blamed the twins that they were useless , however, she still wanted to use them to attract the emperor's attention, so she thought if something terrible happened to the twins, the emperor would come to see them and she might get another chance.
.... but it seems contrary with their contract..? The emperor wants to meet them but he can't because of the contract... Rurahel confuse me so much, I hope this is not just the author inconsistency whatsoever Thanks for the reply anyway
I am guessing their convo went something like this - R- U better make me empress blah blah since I gave birth. King - Damn girl, Imma gonna kill them! R - Whut King - Oh noes, they have blonde hair. Just. Like. The. Great. Superior. Me. R - So make me empress King - All my kids have blonde hair. Nothing special, meh. Responsibility? What's that? Can't even pronounce it haha R - ... King - But I won't kill them. Coz of blonde hair. R - Then I will take them away from u! King - Oh girl, never thought u r such a caring person! U r taking your children away from their unstable father who didn't kill them coz of blonde hair! Great! Go away. R - (To the kids) Fuck, couldn't u have been born with black or purple or green hair? Now I am saddled with u two blondies, can't marry anybody else coz this society is made up of chauvinistic assholes. So u the cause of my pain! U the cause of my no-sex life! U the cause of my future chastity! Tbh I do really like this manga. The above convo is just my rational side speaking. The book worm absolutely adores this manga asfjafjsjsk
Well according to the spoilers posted previously, while he's technically the father, he never did the deed with their mother so responsibility isn't really the correct word. The closest thing I could compare it to would be if the emperor donated sperm to a sperm bank and the mother stole it, got pregnant, and showed up at his doorstep demanding to be made empress even though he already had his own family. Except it's even worse for the mother in this case since she used magic and his blood to get pregnant so he literally had no idea it happened until she showed up at his doorstep. Honestly, I find its actually less realistic that he ignored them rather than killed them all.
Personally I don't think that the Emperor is a really bad person. Imagine a woman suddenly barging into your home pregnant with your children that you absolutely have any idea how it could happen, and when they got born, turns out they are really your children, but you still have no idea how on earth they could be your children, would YOU really care for the children? I thought that the Emperor is already kind enough to not kill those twins when they were just born. As an Emperor, it is a given that many women will try to trick their way to be an Empress. Rurahel is just another woman that happen to succeed in conceiving the Emperor's children whatever the way she use( I'm still confused of the how). I'm not saying that the Emperor is right in abandoning the children to Rurahel's abuse. But I don't think he even knows that Rurahel was beating them and abusing the twins. He did not care for them, but he did send some money to the palace they once live with Rurahel. Sort of like childcare money I guess. The fact that Rurahel use that money for her own pleasure is Rurahel's fault and not the Emperor.
It's killing me waiting for the next chapter and I want the twins to hurry and meet their partner the red wolf.
Before I read some spoilers here, I thought the one who was sinking is jason's twin. Bcs, in the next chapter 'Jason' seemed fine... then I realized it could be Jason's twin. I mean, the twins have guardians who are also twins. But, through some spoilers, no one mentioned anything that told jason has twin... [but maybe the manhwa will have a slight difference from the novel(?), this is just my guess]
The only thing I can understand from a bunch of spoilers is that this story is not properly explained. Many things like many things are left without any explanation. So basically that fox is the ml? Does people still insult them when the story comes to an end??

Hey bro, so there are 2 thing which i am really curious.. 1. so in chapter 26 the twin are attacked but saved by 2nd brother magic.. where is the twin guardian (the wolf) and why he didnt do anything? is it explained in the novel? and is there a translated novel of this manhwa? 2. Could you explain about the empress? is she alive? whats her story??
This whole story is only revolve around arien as the story progress only arien and her thoughts u can see who ever the author had only done something new is with creating twin but nothing else whole limelight given to only n only arien according to the spoilers arien will later find a dragon's protection, their guardian will be more interested in her,she got so much mana than arjen can even compete with 3rd prince in that case etc etc where I feel sorry 4 arjen to end up has arien's side partner nothing else where he has more potential to watch unlike arien he is more calm and mature has more good sights towards the people but in the end author only created him 4 arien's shield who will only get kidnapped instead of her. Honestly in the new chapter I don't like how arien is acting so idiot to fangirling around a handsome boy just because they're treating her outwardly nice,in beginning she is the one who always say no one can be trusted and now like a idiot she is blushing around that bastard wants to close 2 him easily trusting them really pissing me off I m not asking for supremely intelligent or badass heroine but at least give her some brain 4 her own good and srlly need to stop portraying girls easily falls 4 any good face hell after living one life before this she should have more mature about world but those other princes are more mature than her sadly and that guardian is also one of the useless idiot what promise and which promise that rurahel's who is she just follow ur owners consent and the twin's are ur owner so ask them what they want instead be a stalker.
Well said, I also don't like how she easily relax around that evil young nobleman ( I won't admit that he's good looking cuz his personality's suck). Have a backbone girl. And poor Arjen being a sidekick here. This story will be pretty bland if Arjen doesn't have that much of role here besides being Arien's sidekick.
She’s the only girl and it’s shoujo so of course, she will be in the spotlight. I like this story because I’d like to see her relationship with her brothers and father. They are all good and I’m so excited to see them close as a family. I don’t understand what’s wrong with her being stronger than her brother in magic? If her brother was stronger it’s okay but she’s not?. Also, it mentioned that her brother stronger than her as a knight. He’s so good with his sward. And what’s wrong with her blush around the boy or trusting him especially after her father told her to be friends with him not to mention he was nice to her. Doesn’t that make him trustworthy in her eyes? I mean even the king himself or the other princes didn't doubt him why she would?
I'll start off by saying that I do like this story/webtoon so far, but I have to agree with you on that. The whole plot of the two mcs being reincarnated twins becomes pointless when its obvious the author wants the story to be solely perceived from the perspective of arien while arjen takes up his mantle as arien's character foil. It just comes across as his purpose being a comparison to further boost the fl's characterization further as a troubled yet special child, rather than to appear as a unique individual title character who also endures and grows within the plot. I understand the author initially wanted to develope a story based on kinship and familia ties in a fantasy world, but the execution misses the beat and gears far more towards your usual shojou love story with a bit of familial and magical intrigue. Up until the spoiler reveals, arjen seems to be relegated to third string much like the position of the 1st-3rd brothers and the emperor. An important character - yes, but a third string to arien's development none the less. The author might as well have made an older or younger brother rather than a twin, since the twin plotline implies relatively equal or similar standing. As it stands, arien is clearly the superior in almost every aspect and the story seems to be developing around her eventual struggles and desires. Ngl it is a bit disappointing but the story is still good overall. Just disappointing in that aspect considering the initial selling point was the idea of a pair of twins both experiencing reincarnation in a harsh, new fantasy enviornment with only one another to rely on; as they carve out a place for themselves through both cruel and heart-warming experiences.
