Webnovel trial reads

I was just wondering if there was a reason why no novel information pages are made for the Webnovel trial read novels on Novel Updates?

 

Dont they have some available as I saw some arounnd.

 

No one bother to make the page for those novels since paywalled chapter can't be posted on NU....if webnovel want them on nu, they can make it themself.....but obviously they like the user going on their site to search instead of NU.....

 

None of the one I have looked for to find the Chinese names have been on.

 

Showing the "trial" chapters from webnovel is akin to making publicity for a online bookstore. They allow you a peek then ask for money.
I'm not part of novelupdates but I feel like this is this site exact opposite purpose.

 

There are many novels that go behind pay walls have pages on this site and webnovels novels have pages on this site so there should be no difference with the "trial" novels.

 

To be honest they used to but even webnovel users no longer bother.

The consistency in which webnovel has further intruded into it's users bank accounts has managed to turn away many long time users. I stopped spending on there after they made it cost me nearly $20 a week to keep up to date with translations that actually degenerated in translation quality.

 

I only want somewhere that gives the chinese name so I can MTL

 

Whoever that wants to create it can. If there's none that means no one thinks it's necessary.

 

They have at least one chapter that isn't paywalled, right?

 

The trial reads have 39 free chapters

 

Try looking for the authors. They might have some novels on NU already.

You go into their novel and see their Chinese name.

And once you have authors' Chinese names, you might be able to find all their novels.

Tried that none of the ones I am looking for have author pages on NU.

 

And most never get picked making a waste to have therm

 

It depends on the site the novel is in. If its
stuck at a certain chapter i doubt anyone is going to add it here. Or if it was available at some point it would be here.

 

Does the novel have at least 1 chapter available for free?
Are the chapters available without the need of logging in/spending money/downloading something/etc?

If the novel fills both of those requirements, you can add it to NU yourself.

 

Yeah they seem to not put any tags when they’re posted on nu so I end up trying to read some of it just so I can add tags.

Like they even posted the wrong novel under the wrong name before so I sort of feel they got tired with posting on nu & just tag on their own platform so if they make that mistake again at least they don’t have to go the extra step on to nu to fix it.

 

The thing is, translator can put any title they want. When they do its almost impossible to search which novel they translate unless someone ask the translator. So if you want the chinese title go ask them, not NU.
