I think it is a good question? I mean, fears have been something that not only humankind has cultivated through many generations, but also other animals! So after finally having watched It and It II, I began thinking, what would it make appear before me? And an answer came immediately. Insects. And you can include spiders, bugs, or anything like that. Pests in general are quite scary to me, as when I see them I just start to panic. Even mosquitoes are scary, sucking your blood. So, what are you guys afraid of? Watching Sonic?
I´m scared of rollercoasters, not because of the heights but because all the creaking makes me worry that the ride is structurally unsound and will break while im on it.
I am not afraid of spider, roach or just general insect. I can touch them and kill them just fine. But it is a different story for caterpillar. Just see one of them makes my blood cold and I can jump, scream and run a mile. *shudder*
Slow & painful death. I'm not scared of dying. I just want it to as fast as possible, instead of feeling like I'm being tortured before dying.
This is some heavy [shwemp], but... myself. I've got a bad temper and I've had to control it my entire life. It scares the shit out of me that some garbage Karen might get me put in jail after they goad me into bad behavior by being a trashbag to other people =\
The inevitable fact that I will amount to nothing just because there will always be someone better than me and that even if I myself initially will not fall to depression because of the fact, the societal pressure will make me yield instead. And for something less of an existential crisis, flying cockroaches, because my batting skill sucks.
DEATH Death brings out the worst fear you ever felt. Your survival instinct gets triggered when you try to kill yourself or do something equivalent, the fear comes after is the true fear(there might be a generous amount of despair on top).
I dunno... There's a lot of things that can harm you but far from you at the moment. Until then, the answers varies.
I'm not afraid of heights, as I've climbed trees before, and that our classrooms are on the highest floors... It's just I am afraid of steep areas.
I'm incredibly afraid of death, like, I believe deep inside that after I'm dead, everything becomes meaningless and I just forget everything that happened Beyond that, insects
Living a meandering life. And living life like a robot, meaning, meaningless job --> home --> sleep --> wake up --> job. Not feeling happy anymore. Becoming apathetic to the world. And, lastly, a slow death. And x2, my dick falling off.
Height + wall, I guess? Tbh, I'm not really afraid of the height itself because I had been doing some paragliding and stuff, and I'm not freaked out everytime I see a wall. What's terrifying is when I'm on the edge of a building or something similar with a certain height, with or without safety gear, it will absolutely make my hand goes sweaty with a 100% possibility it will happen, even right now when I'm only imagining it. If say I got Spiderman's ability, it would be wasted on me lmao
