I'm not sure which words are appealing and acceptable. I'll need ya help, because it sure would suck triggering a landmine. These are the names for people contracting "A" in NT. They are called "chuuni" in our world. Exactly! If chuunibyou was a serious "condition", then this is a story of people deciding between dreams or reality; mind or matter. Choose a side!

Why not just schizophrenics?
Since they hear, see and believe in their delusions?

 

It's para-schizo, because their delusions are real.

 

If their delusions are real, then they are in no way schizophrenic.

Are they the only ones seeing these things? Cause if that is the case, then they to the normal pupblic would appear as schizophrenics.

If everyone can see these not-delusions, then just make up a new term.

It doesnt even need to be a medical or professional one. The gifted could be it. Or Dream Eaters.
