I don’t like techno or electro... also I don’t ever listen to classical music when driving. (Fall asleep). The rest- most of the stuff on the radio whether it is rap or pop or love songs is fine.

I occasionally hear it on the radio, never heard a "song" I like. At best it's listenable.

old the rhyme rap, not so much. i think it was Kid-n-Play that changed the rap genre. not sure so don't quote me. trance is ok for awhile. techno is much better though. lol i'll listen to anything other than opera. GOD, i can't stand most of that. although there are some male singers who are making me think again.

There’s a few rap songs I like, although all but one of them are actually Japanese pop rap. I think my favorite is “To All Tha Dreamers” by SOUL’d OUT. I think my favorite song that has a rap section in it is “O2” by Orange Range. I can’t quite decide whether “Pulse” by Fake? counts as rap. If it does, it has an English and a Japanese version, but it’s the Japanese one that’s on my phone. :blobsweat:

Yea, there could exist some good music in those genres that I would like...but so far I haven't found many and the majority that I did listen to I didn't like and I'm tired of it so I just stopped looking.

I'm just gonna stick to the genres where I often find things I like.

Also, rap is more akin to poems than songs. They should market it as a form of poetics instead of music don't you think?

But yea, no. Even though I'm a classical nerd there are still a few hip-hops or raps that I listened to that made me go...
    Hey, that's pretty good.png

Hip-Hop/music is great. It can be anywhere from some of the most thought-provoking genres from songs such as:

To the buffoonary and mindless garbage that's still great but bad that most of the populace knows of:

Yeah. I like rap and hip hop a lot. I grew up on Snoop Dogg, Busta, NWA, Nas, Wu-Tang, Slick Rick, Mos Def, etc. It's not my main genre but I still get into it and the best of them are spoken word poets and rep it well as the art form it is. There's a lot to like in the younger generations too and I respect that. I don't mind if others don't like it, but I'll freely tell 'em to fuck off if they start trying to go off on me about how much they hate it. Go and annoy someone else with your zealotry.

i do like raps and hip pop, but it does depend in my mood tho.....however, i don't agree with all these people saying how they miss the old songs and era just because now a days most of the popular songs ae rap/hip pop and any well known artists are making more of them.....

I listen to different genre of music and whatever suits my mood. If I want to be an agressive zebra, I listen to hiphop or rap :3 (≖︿≖✿ )

Well I enjoy kpop, k hip hop, jpop & cpop so I enjoy some of it.
I just get picky with like a full on rap song since they get dirty with the language without any filter sometimes and I’m not super into that.

but trending Asian pop seems to mix it in occasionally and makes it more tame so it’s tolerable for me.
