Nope. There's no difference except words for some names. Didn't like the names they gave the guilds, and went out of my way to read it on Webnovel. Just my opinion.

 

The words matter. Just using the right adjectives and adverbs can make a fight scene so much better. White Salts had better fights, better dialogue and jokes. Webnovel was just ok.

Unfortunately, because White Salts gotta DCMA, their translation is not available. Sorry, it would be hard to see for yourself.

I read on an aggregator site. Translation quality can just throw itself out of the window.

 

Barely. But I admit I have high standards as an editor/proofreader.

 

Readable for Asian people or those who doesn't have English as their main language. I noticed that it sounds weird from time to time but most of the time I could understand it.

Those from US/UK or anywhere who mainly uses English would probably struggle cringe reading it.

P.S. I haven't read the other translation so I don't know how 'good' it is.

I've finally finished reading this story. The Sovereign/Ruler story arc was a real drag. It completely ruined the momentum from the early power gain arcs. I had to take multiple breaks during my slog through it, that said, the conclusion was ok. On the other hand, the side stories after the main story ended were surprisingly good, a real treat. I guess the author was more relaxed when writing them compared to the finale.

 

Manhwa is beyond awesome, better than the novel. Go read nau.
