So I just watched the goblin slayer movie "Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown" and I'm a bit underwhelmed. Like I don't think it was a terrible movie, but it felt lacking. I hated the Noble Fencer and honestly haven't been enjoying the arc with her in the manga currently. Most of my gripes are small and unimportant, but yeah the movie felt like a waste of time, especially with the opening half hour being a recap. Did anyone else see it and have the same or a different reaction?
To be honest, I think that everything has been going downhill since episode 1. I get that adding waifus to your story makes sales go up but it simply doesn't effing fit the story nor the ambient it tries to instill. Realistic platonic relationships between the characters would have been 1000x better. That and directly deleting the childhood friend from the story.
Yeah i didn't mind that so much in the show, but the ending of the movie where all the harem members are there and kind of acknowledge their shared feelings for GS (just in a minor, to the side comment) did aggravate me a bit
